    Privacy Policy

    1. Who we are

    This policy explains how Company Resolution UK, a trading style of Money Managers (UK) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08367087; registered office: Coppull Business Centre, Mill Lane, Coppull, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 5BW), collects and uses your personal information.

    We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC075084.

    If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at team@companyresolution.uk or by post at the address above.

    2. What this policy covers

    This policy applies when you enquire with us through an online advert or lead form (including Facebook and Instagram), our website, by telephone, or by any other means, and when we contact you about your enquiry. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

    3. The information we collect

    Information you give us when you make an enquiry or speak to us:

    • your name and contact details (email address, telephone number);
    • information about your company and its financial situation — for example the company name, the nature and level of its debts, pressure from HMRC or creditors, and what you would like help with;
    • anything else you choose to tell us in your enquiry, on a call, or in reply to our messages.

    Information we generate or obtain:

    • records of our communications with you (emails, text messages, and notes of calls);
    • appointment details when you book a call with us;
    • publicly available company information from the Companies House register, used to understand your enquiry;
    • limited technical and engagement information — for example your IP address, and whether you opened or clicked a link in an email we sent — used to run and improve our service.

    We do not ask for special category data (such as health information) as part of your enquiry, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

    4. How and why we use your information

    Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered your rights and interests and are satisfied our use is fair and does not override them. You can ask us for more detail on this balancing, or object to it (see section 11).

    5. Marketing, follow-up messages, and your choices

    When you make an enquiry, we follow up by email, text message and telephone about that enquiry. You are in control of this at all times:

    • every email we send contains a clear, one-click way to stop further emails immediately;
    • every text message can be stopped by replying STOP;
    • you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing team@companyresolution.uk.

    Acting on any of these stops all further marketing messages promptly and permanently, on every channel, unless you contact us again. We record your choice so it is honoured.

    6. Automated processing and prioritisation

    We use software to organise enquiries and to help our team prioritise follow-up — for example, flagging which enquiries look most urgent based on what you have told us. This helps us respond well; it does not make any decision about you that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. Decisions about whether and how we can help, and any referral, are always made by a member of our team. You can ask us about this, and ask a person to review any outcome (see section 11).

    7. Who we share your information with

    We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to help you and to run our service:

    • Insolvency practitioners and partner firms — where you agree to be referred, so they can help you further. These parties are independent controllers of the information once referred and will have their own privacy notice.
    • Service providers who process information on our behalf ("processors"), under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These currently include: our email provider (Google), our text-messaging provider (Twilio), our appointment-scheduling provider (Calendly), the advertising platform through which you may have contacted us (Meta — Facebook and Instagram), our case- and lead-management system, and our hosting provider.
    • Professional advisers, regulators and authorities — where we are required to share information by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

    8. International transfers

    Some of our providers (for example those named above) may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or on appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses, so your information receives an equivalent level of protection. You can ask us for details of the safeguards in place.

    9. How long we keep your information

    We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above:

    • if you become a client or are referred, for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations afterwards;
    • if your enquiry does not proceed, for a limited period — no longer than 12 months — after which we delete or anonymise it;
    • a record that you have opted out is kept for as long as necessary to make sure we continue to honour it.

    We also keep an encrypted copy of each website enquiry on our website for 90 days as a backup, after which it is deleted automatically.

    10. How we protect your information

    We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data, access controls, and restricting access to those who need it. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to deal properly with any issue that arises.

    11. Your rights

    Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

    • access the personal information we hold about you;
    • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
    • ask us to delete your information ("right to erasure");
    • restrict or object to our use of your information;
    • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it (this does not affect earlier processing);
    • receive certain information in a portable format;
    • ask that a person review any outcome reached with the help of automated tools.

    To exercise any of these, contact team@companyresolution.uk. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.

    12. Cookies and tracking

    Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to work; non-essential cookies (for example analytics) are used only with your consent, which you can manage or withdraw at any time through our cookie settings. Our marketing emails may tell us whether a message was opened or a link clicked, so we can understand what is useful and improve.

    13. Children

    Our service is intended for company directors and business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

    14. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on our website, and the "last updated" date shows when it last changed. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
